We first used Rollings Renewables back in 2021 for the installation of an EV charge point. We were very impressed with the service and when we began to look into solar/battery options, we had no hesitation in going back to them. I would best describe myself at the start of this process, as far as home solar is concerned, as someone who knows just enough to be really annoying to someone who knows the industry inside and out. To his eternal credit, Paul was incredibly patient answering my endless questions & revising the quotation countless times as I pivoted from one idea to the next. Once we had settled on a system, Paul and his team took care of our G99 application and once that was approved, we agreed installation dates. The teams we had on site for the install were faultless; they were considerate of our home, efficient and incredibly diligent in ensuring the finished system was as neat & tidy as possible. I have absolutely no reservation in recommending these guys whole heartedly, as I did to one of our neighbours who has since accepted a quotation as well. Putting in a EV charger today as first phase of a solar installation plan. Luke and Tom installed it exactly where we wanted it, tidy installation and then  talk through app registration and charging method upon completion. Great job. Update 23rd July : So, our solar installation has now been in place since the end of April and we’ve been exporting consistently during this sunny summer we’re experiencing. We’ve been really pleased with the installation, subsequent operation and after sales. Yes, we’ve had a couple of teething problems but nothing significant and dealt with quickly and agreeably by the Rollings team. After discovering that half our house had no electric and checking the fuse board with no signs of a trip anywhere on the board, I contacted Rollings Renewables with the hope they might be able help as they were local to us. I spoke to a lovely lady named Charlotte and a nice guy called Corey, between them they managed to diagnose what could potentially be the problem and Corey managed to track down a part that would fit our fuse board. Having explained that only half our house had power they said they would get their electrician out to us that day around 1pm. Luke turned up before 1 and got to work on our very fiddly annoying fuse box. Unfortunately the problem was worse than we could have predicted and that meant a new fuse box was going to have to be fitted. However Luke managed to put a temporary fix in to hold us until the fuse box arrived. The team at Rollings Renewables are fantastic, customer service is exceptional and they are just a really lovely bunch of people. They had us back up and running in no time. We have just had a 23 panel installation over three different roofs with a 10kW battery. From start to finish our experience with Rollings was very positive. I always think it's hard to get the measure of a company if everything goes without a hitch, so when we hit a bump in the road it was reassuring that Rollings were quick to respond and quick to resolve the issue. The chap leading the job on site was a very nice guy -  professional and polite and very easy to have around. When we hit the glitch their full time roofer who is part of Rollings team came on site and gave us real confidence that they took our concern seriously and they would complete the job to a high standard. Again, very polite and professional. They even went above and beyond fixing a couple of cracked slates for us that were already broken before they came. The site electrician was great - very tidy, very professional and a pleasure to have in the house. We recently had a complete solar panel system installed by Rollings Renewables, and I can honestly say the experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. From our very first meeting, Paul took the time to explain the entire process, the benefits of solar energy, and how the system would work for our property. There was never any pressure, and every question we had was answered clearly and professionally, giving us complete confidence in our decision. The installation team – Luke, Simon, John and Tom – were absolutely outstanding throughout the project. They were friendly, polite, punctual, and kept us informed at every stage of the installation. What could easily have been a stressful experience was made to look effortless thanks to their professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail. They treated our property with respect and left everything clean and tidy once the work was completed. What really sets Rollings Renewables apart, however, is their customer service and aftercare. In our experience, many companies complete the work and then leave customers to figure things out for themselves. Rollings Renewables have been the complete opposite. Their ongoing support has been exceptional, and nothing has been too much trouble. The level of care they provide after installation is worthy of a gold medal. Even in the relatively short time since the system was commissioned, we have already generated a significant amount of excess electricity. This has dramatically reduced our electricity bills and has given us great confidence that the system will provide an excellent financial return over the years ahead. It is reassuring to see the benefits of the investment becoming apparent so quickly. Thank you to Paul and the entire team for delivering such a first-class service. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Rollings Renewables to anyone considering solar panels or renewable energy solutions for their home. We cannot recommend Rollings Renewables enough! Paul Rollings was so patient with us when we were considering solar panels and spent so much time answering our numerous questions and tweaking the design of our setup to maximise the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of our system. We were sold a system best-suited to our needs and usage. There was no sales pressure and Paul’s experience and expertise is second to none! When we decided to take the plunge the process was very slick and happened very quickly following approval from the grid. The Engineers John, Simon and Tom worked hard and efficiently. They were very friendly, polite and considerate and were a pleasure to have working at our home. The work was completed within the specified time and we were kept updated regarding timescales throughout. The workmanship is to the highest standard and we are delighted with the result. There is also the reassurance that our system is monitored for 10 years after installation. We would definitely have Rollings Renewables carry out further work for us in the future! We recently had solar panels, a Sigenergy battery system and a Sigenergy EV charger installed by Rollings Renewables, and the whole experience has been excellent from start to finish. From the initial consultation and quotation process through to the final installation, the team have been faultless. Communication throughout was superb, with the back-office team keeping us fully informed at every stage, making the whole process straightforward and stress-free. The installation team were outstanding – professional, knowledgeable, tidy and clearly passionate about what they do. The quality of workmanship and attention to detail were first class. We’re already seeing great results from the system, particularly when combined with the Octopus Agile and Export tariffs. The Sigenergy system has exceeded our expectations and is performing brilliantly. I would highly recommend both Rollings Renewables and the Sigenergy system to anyone considering solar, battery storage or EV charging.
